Accessing Powerful Energy for a Better Life

Out of all the topics in the energetic and spiritual realms, power is one of the most confusing! The conversation around dense, heavy, powerful energy can be difficult to figure out. Once you understand this powerful realm, you can start accessing and using your personal power for what is most important in your life.

Your body takes in energy from the planet, animals, plants and people you interact with every day and uses it to keep your energetic body healthy and defended.  It uses this calm, rich energy to connect you to your body and keep you safe and whole.  Your body needs some power just to take care of the basics.

Powerful energy fuels creativity and opens the doorway to the physical world.

Energetic power is also used to bring your thoughts and ideas into the physical world through your intentions and focus. This could be something practical like money or something more altruistic like a higher spiritual truth. You could have a great idea which could help us all and make you a living, but without access to powerful energy, it won’t happen. Whereas, if you have the energetic power to back up your ideas and creations, it is likely to happen!

Without energetic power, people can’t change things in their physical lives or in their communities. They are trapped with good ideas that have no outlet. This is where power games are played. Many intentions are not altruistic and are made to ensure that the people in power remain on top of the pile.  If people control the flow of energetic power,  they can prevent others from gaining access to it eliminating their competition in the physical world.

In history, people would prevent others from getting power by stopping them from going down to these realms.  They taught that dense energy was evil, sex was inherently bad and that the power should be left to people who are smart and gifted.  On its own, energetic power is not good or evil.  It sits waiting to be stirred with instructions from intentions, belief and focus.

Beliefs hidden in culture and unseen power plays lock this energy into form and structures we pass on through generations.

The games people play as they vie for power can make going to powerful places unpleasant. The feelings can be agitating, intense, difficult and persistent. The confusion in this realms passes as you start to make sense of the textures, impressions and shapes that have been patterned here.  Most everyone has had a rough experience in the dense powerful realms because corruption, immorality and manipulation have left its scars there.

You need power, but how do you obtain it without getting into trouble or, even worse, becoming part of the trouble!

With a better understanding, this area can be navigated making it more manageable and powerful to the life you are creating.  Many people choose to avoid dark dense energy altogether, which leaves them powerless and often victimized.  Usually, they’ve been taught to avoid the complexity, to see themselves as “good” people, and rise above it.  They are “nice,” but over time, they starve themselves out of what little power they have.   Sadly, avoiding the dense heavy realms can leave them unable to thrive or achieve their goals; even if these goals are altruistic.

Conversely, others who do go down to the dark, heavy realms don’t understand what is there or how to navigate.  They end up plugging into what they feel and act out what is already there. This eventually takes its toll on them and the people around them. People get away with it because our society lacks a language or the tools to understand these “invisible” games.

We definitely need an understanding and a plan to navigate the power realms successfully!

The Key to Happiness?  Body Awareness, Energy and Spirit

Although there are different ways to make a happy life, I believe that one of the keys is to become aware of the energy, spirit and consciousness in your body. When I started my quest 20 years ago, I didn’t really understand this.  I half-heartedly tried to meditate and got mixed results.

Okay, to be honest, I couldn’t really sit still.  Some people seem to do it easily and I just wasn’t one of those people. With practice, my mind did calm and I was able to discern different areas of consciousness, do some maneuvering and steady myself.

Over the years, I first learned to be conscious of my heart with some ease.  Then, I worked at being present in my pelvis.  Every time I became aware of a new place in my body, I also learned there was a natural order to things.

Your heart is for connection and a sense of self, your head for intricate thought and spiritual patterns, and your pelvis for creation and power.”

There is real value to becoming aware of and connecting to different parts of your body. Different parts of your body hold different types of information. It can really be something to see and feel it firsthand.

Your body holds secrets. I was such a skeptic I would never have believed it, but as time went on, I experienced a connection to God, the planet, other people, my ancestors, some things I understood and others I didn’t.  I could sense and feel we are in a wonderful, delicate web that holds and sustains us.  I gradually found my place in all that information.

“Living only in your head is a trap you probably don’t know you are in.”

The more I became aware, the more life made sense. Things that bothered me stopped bothering me.  I could gracefully accept more responsibility and power as my energetic body healed.  I began to feel peace.  I felt at home in my own skin for the first time.

Sounds good, right?  Well, it wasn’t all easy.  Sometimes I was aware of not so good things that other people and groups of people were creating. Their vibes could be harsh and the information I was picking up on under the surface didn’t feel good.  I could see that talking bad about people, power plays, bullying, and harmful intentions and energy were also part of the fabric of consciousness here.  As I became aware of myself, I understood that these forces and information were interacting with my body and stressing me out even though I wasn’t conscious of them before.  I quickly realized that the more conscious I became, the more important it was for me to defend myself.

I started to see that I was broken in some areas and I learned how to assist my body in healing itself.  It wasn’t always comfortable to feel places in myself which were dysfunctional.  I had to invent tools and a language to describe these places and what to do with them.  There is a vulnerability to being conscious that I didn’t have to deal with when I was unaware.  The information was always there, but becoming aware of it was intense.  I was taking the load my body was under and learning how to manage it for myself.

It is possible to learn how to ‘read’ flows of energy that carry both good and bad things. The skills aren’t particularly difficult, but everyone can certainly  benefit from a guide.  A guide would potentially have saved me a lot of time in orienting and learning how to protect myself from things other people weren’t aware of.  I was finally able to get my footing and I could stay present for longer periods of time.  I noticed health benefits and other changes in me were only possible when I was aware or present for long periods of time.  Short bursts aren’t enough.  Being present for a class or a seminar for a few days isn’t enough to create long term changes.  Your body needs consistent awareness to maintain and repair itself.  Your energy and spirit need to be present for longer periods of time for magic to happen and you need a skillset to do that.

Over time, this process changed my life.  It was astoundingly beautiful, but there were skillsets that needed to happen to manage myself as present and vulnerable.  I was sculpted by the forces I met and continue to meet.  Being conscious isn’t always as easy as it may seem.  It can be a struggle, confusing and painful to become aware of what is in you and around you.  I am here to say it is worth it.  I am so glad I hung in there.

When I see people walking out of their yoga class and rising to meet the challenges of the day, I believe they should have the tools to keep the power, awareness, calmness and connection they achieved in that setting to last throughout the whole day.  It is possible.  Keeping composure, remaining calm and present is the key, but so is defending the state you achieved, repairing energy leaks and creating healthy relationships.

Energetic street smarts are necessary to defend your work and your hard-earned connections.

It is possible to cut way down on the time you spend learning on your energetic and spiritual endeavors by understanding the difference between the energetic and spiritual worlds and how to navigate them.  Creating and managing awareness are the basic skills that are necessary to open us up to all that we are.

The Importance of Energy In Healthy Relationships

Have you ever felt like you didn’t have the energy to relate to someone? Be it a partner, co-worker, friend or family member, it is sometimes hard to muster the energy to engage.  You know how to act and what to say, but you aren’t able to find the energy. Worse yet, you can be left feeling drained and exhausted afterward.

The effort it takes to interact with people is a major investment of your time and energy.  Energy is a key part of relationship in addition to words, body language, tone, glances, etc.

“Some people are saying the right words, but under the surface they are taking your energy and playing games.”

My experience has been that even when some people are saying the right words, the energy underneath the communication can be difficult. This doesn’t happen with everyone but enough that it deserves a skill set.  Some people don’t want to commit their own resources so they hide behind the energy of their jobs, roles or social positions.  It feels hollow and pointless at best.  Some make power plays to trap parts of you in weird energetic games, which can be frustrating and hurtful.  Many times they have no idea they are doing it!  Energy games can make or break relationships because they are so ceaseless and powerful.

Learning about energy can allow you to discern and interact with people more efficiently.  Most people aren’t very in touch with their bodies let alone their energy, so things can be intense under the surface even though they don’t mean to be.  You need tools to identify and address this current.  Often people are just out of energy.  You can learn when communication is possible and when others don’t have enough energy for rational communication. In these instances, their behavior won’t match their words.  Energy rules the roost.  If it is balanced, then communication makes sense and is productive.  If it is out of balance, it can be a waste of your time or even hurtful.

It’s not like the western world is a stranger to energy in relationships.  It described with words like charisma, drive, magic and chemistry. Or phrases like, “he’s got it!” In other words, there is something going on that people are picking up on even when no words are spoken.

From my current vantage point, relationships need good, consistent and generally positive communication styles. There is nothing better than having the energy and discernment to create positive, strong communication and bonds.  Relationships require a lot of consistent energy. There has to be energy underneath that supports the verbal communication. Knowing when to add energy, when to take it away, how much and what type to add, are foundational steps to any relationship.  Then, what you say will be backed with the correct energy. This makes relationships fun as you create with others and drive around the potholes!  How much energy you have and how it flows in and around the people you are with, is essential to the success of your relationships with family, friends, romance and social life.
